• a.) Why do you think Anuja did not want to take her father with her to meet new friend? Answer: Anuja did not want to carry her father along because she felt awkward and considered that he was being overbearing. She intended to meet her friend alone without a father getting in the way.
• b.) In what way does she criticize her father? Answer: Anuja admonishes her father for being a "psycho freak" and "overprotective". To her, he views the world as full of peril and distrusts her judgement.
• c. Describe Anuja's e-friend. = A girl who she met online and started talking to in a boy avatar.
• d. What did Anuja's father invite to accompany her? A: To ensure the safety of his daughter and confirm that the person she was going to meet was indeed a 12-year-old girl, not someone with bad intentions.
• f. She did something that shocked her father about? What was the reason that they came without meeting Anuja's friend? A : Anuja was talking with friend in the guise of a boy. They came back without meeting Anuja's friend, because the friend's mother saw Anuja's father hanging around and decided not to let her daughter come out of the car into that atmosphere.(needless to say, she misunderstood)
• g. Why do you suppose Dhurva laughed at the Anuja's father story? Answer: Dhurva laughed the instant he heard this story because it seemed funny to him.
• h. How did the girls mother regard Anujas father? Why was there no back and forth? Answer : The girl mother saw Anuja father as an "old man with huge big-beer belly and bald head" pretending to stand around the meeting point. A parenting conflict: The mother misunderstood the scenario and thought her father was a random stranger with malicious intentions so she doesn't communicate.

• Question: a. What are some of the ways we try to guard our physical possessions? If we were to answer by way of analogy, the reason we protect property is because we have valuable things; this is not unlike physical property. We lock doors so no one sees our jet ski or lifts it; bike locks are there to prevent theft and looking at valuables keeps them closer to the body.
• Question b: How to keep our passwords safe? Response: To keep our passwords safe, we can popularize strong & one of a kind passwords using some combination of letters, numbers & special characters. We should never share our passwords with others, and we should never write them down.
• c. Write down any two precaution with respect to Debit card shopping? Answer: One: To use chip debit cards rather than magnetic strip cards. And two: to only enter financial information on guaranteed secure websites
• d. How can we protect our accounts even if someone gets our password? Response: Make sure you enable two-factor authentication on your accounts. So even if someone has access to our password, they will still need another verification method to get into our accounts.
• e. So, Why do you think we should make our online friends only to the same people? Only familiar people Answer: An online friend means that you both are familiar with each other and it is safe. It also limits the strangers who will come to your life which may have bad intentions in them. It is what allows us to steer clear of potential harm and fraudsters.
• What steps we can take to continue protecting the data online? We can protect our online data by regularly updating ours devices with new software upgrades, using strong and unique passwords, avoiding public Wi-Fi, as well as having caution when sharing personal information over the internet. It is also good to backup important data on periodic basis.
